A residential air conditioning unit outside a Central Florida home
HVAC

Comfort that holdsthrough a Florida summer.

From air conditioning and heating to repairs, maintenance and replacement, The ResQ League helps you connect with the right local professional. Whether your system needs a fix or a full change-out, we help simplify the process.

What we coordinate

Jobs we handle.Every week.

ResQ doesn't perform the work — we select a vetted, licensed provider and coordinate the appointment. The job types below are what our customers most commonly call this trade for. If your job isn't listed, send the request and tell us — we'll tell you honestly whether we can help.

Dispatched providers hold an active Florida HVAC contractor license (CAC) for the work they perform. We verify it before they are assigned your job.

  • AC repair & no-cool calls

A system blowing warm air, short-cycling, or refusing to start. In a Florida summer this is usually the most urgent call a house makes.

  • System replacement & new installs

Replacing an aging system or fitting a new one, with the load calculation done properly so the equipment actually suits the house.

  • Heating service & maintenance

Heat pumps and furnaces serviced before you need them, so the first cold snap isn't when you find out something failed.

  • Thermostats & controls

Replacing a failed thermostat, adding a smart thermostat, or chasing a control fault the last technician couldn't pin down.

  • Seasonal maintenance

A scheduled visit before cooling season and before heating season. The cheapest repair is the one that never becomes a failure.

Why people call us

The reasons we hear.

  • The AC quit in July and the house has people and pets in it.
  • The system is 12 years old and you'd rather replace it on your schedule than on a Sunday.
  • Your energy bill climbed and nobody can tell you why.
  • The house smells musty when the air runs, or dust settles within a day of cleaning.
  • You're selling or buying and the inspection flagged the HVAC.
What we don't do

Honest limits.

ResQ is the coordinator. The provider performs and warrants the work. We won't promise things we can't deliver, and we'll say so here rather than discover it on your doorstep.

  • Emergency response to a gas smell or burning odour at the unit. Call 911 or your utility first — that is not a job for any contractor, including ours.
  • Refrigerant top-offs as a standalone service. A system low on refrigerant has a leak, and adding gas without finding it just delays the same bill.
  • Commercial rooftop and three-phase equipment. Our network is residential.
  • Duct cleaning, duct sealing and indoor air quality — those are their own services, and you can request them directly from the services page.
What happens after you call

How a ResQ job runs.

  1. Step 01

    Tell us what's going on

Call, text, or send the form. Plain language is fine — you don't need to know which trade to call.

  2. Step 02

    We find the right professional

We match your job to a trusted local professional suited to the work, your area and their availability.

  3. Step 03

    You approve the price

The professional explains what they found and what it costs. Nothing starts until you say go ahead.

  4. Step 04

    We stay with it

One point of contact from first call to completion — and we follow up after to confirm it was done right.
