Electrical work that'spermitted and inspected.
Electrical is the one trade where 'it works' isn't the same as 'it's safe.' ResQ connects you with a trusted local licensed electrician who does the job properly and stands behind it — and you approve the scope and price before anything starts.
Jobs we handle.Every week.
ResQ doesn't perform the work — we select a vetted, licensed provider and coordinate the appointment. The job types below are what our customers most commonly call this trade for. If your job isn't listed, send the request and tell us — we'll tell you honestly whether we can help.
Dispatched providers hold an active Florida electrical contractor license (EC) for the work they perform. We verify it before they are assigned your job.
Panel upgrades & service changes
Replacing a Federal Pacific or Zinsco panel, upgrading to 200-amp service for EV or solar loads, and adding a subpanel — handled properly by a licensed professional.
Outlets, switches & circuits
Dead outlets, tripping breakers, GFCI and AFCI installation, dedicated circuits for appliances, and adding outlets where you actually need them.
Lighting & ceiling fans
Recessed lighting, under-cabinet lights, dimmers, ceiling fan install and replacement — including on vaulted ceilings where a fan-rated box matters.
Generators & transfer switches
Standby generator installation, interlock kits and manual transfer switches. Storm-season work in Central Florida, done properly by a licensed professional.
EV charging
Level 2 home charger installation, load calculations, and the panel capacity assessment that tells you whether you need an upgrade first.
Troubleshooting
Chasing an intermittent fault, a burning smell at a switch, or a circuit that trips for no obvious reason. Diagnosis first, then a written scope.
The reasons we hear.
- Breakers keep tripping and you've stopped using half the outlets in a room.
- You're adding an EV, a hot tub or a workshop and need to know if the panel can take it.
- An inspector flagged the panel or the wiring during a home sale.
- A switch or outlet is warm, discolored or smells like burning.
- You want a generator before hurricane season, not after the storm is named.
Honest limits.
ResQ is the coordinator. The provider performs and warrants the work. We won't promise things we can't deliver, and we'll say so here rather than discover it on your doorstep.
- Emergency response to sparking, burning smells or downed lines. Call 911 or your utility immediately — that is not a job for any contractor, including ours.
- Solar panel installation and interconnection — a separate licensure and utility-approval process.
- Low-voltage work (alarm, data, CCTV). Licensed separately in Florida; we'll tell you we don't staff it rather than dispatch an electrician to do it.
- Work on a commercial three-phase service. Our network is residential.

We find the right professional
We match your job to a trusted local professional suited to the work, your area and their availability.
- Step 03
You approve the price
The professional explains what they found and what it costs. Nothing starts until you say go ahead.

We stay with it
One point of contact from first call to completion — and we follow up after to confirm it was done right.
