The appliance decideswhen it breaks.
A failed refrigerator is a food-safety problem within hours, and a failed dryer is a laundry pile that doesn't stop growing. ResQ connects you with a trusted local technician who tells you plainly whether it's worth repairing — and you approve the price before anything starts.
Jobs we handle.Every week.
ResQ doesn't perform the work — we select a vetted, licensed provider and coordinate the appointment. The job types below are what our customers most commonly call this trade for. If your job isn't listed, send the request and tell us — we'll tell you honestly whether we can help.
Appliance repair is not a licensed trade in Florida, so we hold a higher bar instead: every dispatched technician carries current general liability insurance, verified before assignment.
Refrigerators & freezers
Not cooling, leaking water, icing over, or running constantly. Includes ice maker and water-dispenser faults.
Washers & dryers
Won't drain, won't spin, won't heat, leaks from underneath, or a drum that's started making a noise you can hear from the next room.
Dishwashers & disposals
Standing water, no drainage, dishes coming out dirty, door leaks, and jammed or leaking garbage disposals.
Ranges, ovens & cooktops
Burners that won't light, elements that won't heat, uneven baking, and control boards that have failed.
Microwaves & small appliances
Built-in microwave replacement and repair, plus the countertop appliances worth fixing rather than replacing.
Repair-or-replace guidance
When the repair approaches the cost of a new unit, the technician tells you plainly. We'd rather you hear the honest answer than pay for a repair that doesn't make sense.
The reasons we hear.
- The refrigerator stopped cooling and there's a full week of groceries in it.
- The dryer runs but the clothes come out wet, and it's been three loads now.
- The dishwasher leaves grit on everything and you've already cleaned the filter.
- The oven heats unevenly and ruined a birthday cake.
- The appliance is under a home warranty and you'd rather deal with one coordinator than a claims line.
Honest limits.
ResQ is the coordinator. The provider performs and warrants the work. We won't promise things we can't deliver, and we'll say so here rather than discover it on your doorstep.
- Appliance installation and haul-away on a new purchase. Your retailer handles that — connecting a new unit is not a repair.
- Work on appliances still under a manufacturer's warranty. That goes through the manufacturer's authorised network; using anyone else can void it.
- Commercial kitchen equipment and multi-unit laundry rooms. Our network is residential.
- Gas-line work. If an appliance fault traces back to the gas connection, that's a licensed plumber or gas fitter, and we'll tell you so.

- Step 03
You approve the price
The professional explains what they found and what it costs. Nothing starts until you say go ahead.

We stay with it
One point of contact from first call to completion — and we follow up after to confirm it was done right.
